Led by experienced tech professionals from companies like Facebook and Atlassian, Kintsugi AI aims to transform sales tax from a burden into a seamless, data-driven process.

Challenge Faced

Cold Emails Going to Spam

While Kintsugi had tested out cold email outbound to good results, previous agencies soon burned their domains and put their emails in spam. 

Agencies Gatekeeping Infrastructure

While good agencies were able to crack outbound, they often retained the infrastructure, blocking them from transparent spam tests and cold email infrastructure.

Inboxpirates quickly realised the value of transparent infrastructure after hearing their past bad experiences. 

We bought all the domains, inboxes and configured them all on the client’s credentials and IT systems.

Shopify & Stripe User List Procurement 

We also figured a common signal among deal wins, most of the list was dominated by Shopify Plus powered websites. We worked with Built with to quickly get all the websites powered by Shopify plus to accelerated lead generation.

Cold Email Copy Rewrites

With over 14,000 inboxes monitored and 10M+ emails sent using the inboxpirates platform and consulting we picked the red flags in existing copy and changed the outreach messaging.

Conclusions

Kintsugi AI needed a scalable outbound strategy to generate high-value leads for their sales tax automation platform—and we delivered. 

In just two months, our cold email outreach secured 23 sales-qualified leads (SQLs) from fast-growing ecommerce and SaaS businesses struggling with multi-state tax compliance. 

With an average deal size of $10K, this effort translated into a $40K sales pipeline, driving immediate revenue opportunities. 

More importantly, the campaign achieved a 2X ROI, proving the efficiency of our targeted outreach strategy. By positioning Kintsugi AI as the go-to solution for seamless tax compliance, we helped them not only generate leads but also accelerate their sales cycle with high-intent prospects.
