GoCobalt helps businesses enhance their product offerings through seamless integrations, reducing development time from months to days. The company’s solution enables even non-technical team members to create powerful workflow automations that improve customer retention and satisfaction.

Challenge Faced
Cobalt had previously tried cold email outreach and had a bad experience over email while LinkedIn emails.
Volume
We quickly realised this was a volume-based problem and scaled up their outbound lead generation.
Time Constraints
The inhouse team focused on other channels like Google Search, Events and Network which limited them from investing into outbound.

Our solution was very interesting for Cobalt, since they targeted other SaaS companies.
AI Workflows using Clay.com
We built several clay.com workflows to improve our messaging and figure out gaps in Cobalt’s customers’ integrations.
This would let us scrape the prospect’s missing websites and automatically email them the integrations that they missed and their competitors had.

Implementation Process
Cobalt is proudly one of our pilot performance customers, which was a win-win.
But our time investment was much higher than that of our retainer program as we loved using AI for the right customer.

Once we found the right messaging that booked meetings at a healthy rate, we scaled upto several inboxes raking 1000s of emails everyday.

The intial launch went great from the current ABM list raking over 10 leads the first month.

Once we proved the model in the United States, we decided to expand to other regions like the UK, APAC and MENA.

Conclusions
We were successfully able to change Cobalt’s take on cold email outreach as it successfully resulted in several deals in a new market.
This includes $100K+ in pipeline and over 20 sales qualified opportunities.
